Georgia
The nature in Georgia is what makes the country worth visiting, because goshdarnit, those mountains are incredible! Mt. Kazbeg is still one of the most awe-inspiring 5,000 m+ (16k ft) mountains I’ve ever seen up close.
On the other hand, Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi, is really the only populated place in the country that’ll knock your socks off. All other cities are worth going to only as bases for exploring Georgia's amazing monasteries and churches and heading out on some pretty cool day hikes to the mountains.
And yes, there are beaches (pebbles or black sand!), but keep in mind this isn't the Mediterranean.
Honestly, I think if Georgia exiled everyone living outside of Tbilisi and kept its mountains and the pretty capital, they’d have a tourism winner.
